Until registration has definitively taken effect, the publisher acts in its capacity as a company in the process of formation, under the conditions provided for by Articles L. 210-6 and R. 210-5 of the French Commercial Code.

2. Publication director

The publication director of the Platform is Mr Gautier Jean Marcel Philippon, in his capacity as President of GJMP SAS.

4. Beta phase — provided "as is"

The Platform is currently deployed in a beta phase. During this phase, all features are made available to Users free of charge. The pricing displayed on the Pricing page will take effect at commercial launch, with a minimum of thirty (30) days' notice given by email to the Users concerned. The terms of use and the privacy policy available on the Platform set out the consequences of this status.

6. Intellectual property

All elements making up the Platform — structure, texts, images, logos, videos, databases, software, interfaces, graphic designs — as well as the "Boatlib" trademark, registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) under number 019320764 (classes 9, 35, 37 and 42), are the exclusive property of GJMP SAS or are covered by a licence granted in its favour.

The "Boatlib" trademark is a contraction of the English words "Boat" and "Logbook", referring to the vessel's logbook and digital register, the core feature of the Platform.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation, modification, extraction or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the Platform or any of its elements, by any process and on any medium whatsoever, without the prior written authorisation of GJMP SAS, is strictly prohibited and constitutes infringement punishable under Articles L. 335-2 et seq. and L. 713-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

7. Reporting illegal content

In accordance with Article 6 of the French law on confidence in the digital economy and with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of 19 October 2022 on digital services (DSA), any person may notify the Company of the presence of content they consider illegal at contact@boatlib.com. The notification must include the information needed to precisely identify the content in question, the legal or factual grounds establishing its illegal nature, and the notifier's contact details. Manifestly unfounded or abusive notifications may be disregarded.

8. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Use of the Platform is subject to the Terms of Use (CGU) and the Privacy Policy, accessible from the footer of the Platform.
